Kabir Das' philosophy & ideology
Today's Philosophy :
Kabir Das' philosophy & ideology was ahead of its time
& remains valid for life as it is today. Swanand Kirkire in fact refers to
Kabir as the rockstar of Indian music and has always wanted to do a song that
would talk about these age-old gems in a contemporary manner.
This song is Kabir in philosophy but has a very modern edge. It talks about how the human soul is plagued with evils like greed, fear, resentment and jealousy. But when these feelings get the better of you, one should just give the Almighty a missed call and the connection would be instant! This haunting melody is Swanand's homage to Kabir.

Sab par teri saahebi, tujh par sahib nay
Nirakaar nirgun tuhi, aur sakal bharmay
Hoye amaar kankher koloshi
Gayche jole te bhashi
Hoye amaar kankher koloshi
Gayche jole te bhashi
Majhi re tor noukar dhewla giya re
Majhi re tor noukar dhewla giyaa
Hey panch tatva ka bana pinjra, pinjre mein maina
Panch lootere ghaat lagaye ghabraye maina
Hey panch tatva ka bana pinjra, pinjre mein maina
Panch lootere ghaat lagaye ghabraye maina
Baja le anhad shunnya ke sannate mein
Dhadkan ki tirtaal
Simarle sahebji ka nam ke duniya
Maya ka janjal
Sahib mera ek rakhwala re
Sahib mera deen dayala re
Sahib mere tan pe dushala re
Sahib mere tan main ujala re
Panch tatva ka bana pinjra, pinjre mein maina
Panch lootere ghaat lagaye ghabraye maina
Baja le anhad shunnya ke sannate mein
Dhadkan ki tirtaal
Simarle sahebji ka nam ke duniya
Maya ka janjal
Sahib mera ek rakhwala re
Sahib mera deen dayala re
Sahib mere tan pe dushala re
Sahib mere tan main ujala re
Sahib tere ghat bheetar hi dhooni ramaye baitha sadhu
Sahib tera antarman na roop rang nirguniya saadhu
O majhi re, oh majhi
Majhi re tor noukar dhewla giya re
Majhi re tor noukar dhewla giya re
Majhi re tor noukar dhewla giya re
Majhi re tor noukar dhewla giya
Sahib tere ghat bheetar hi dhooni ramaye baitha sadhu
Sahib tera antarman na roop rang nirguniya saadhu
Sahib nahi taat maat na bandhu sakha sakhi saiyaan saadhu
Sahib nahin jaat paat na dharm kaaj kirtaniya saadhu
Sahib mera nirmal jal jaisa
Sahib mera behti pawan jaisa
Sahib mera neel gagan jaisa
Sahib mera bhola man jaisa
Uss pe kyun jhooth fareb ka
Maas chadhaye rang rang ki khal
Aur phir moh maya ke mele mein jaa naacha vikat kankal
Sahib mera ek rakhwala re
Sahib mera deen dayala re
Sahib mere tan pe dushala re
Sahib mere tan main ujala re
Sahib koi sur na taal bas naad naad anhadiya saadhu
Sahib toh hai prem ka tika byopari kanpatiya saadhu
O majhi re, oh majhi re
Majhi re tor noukar dhewla giya re
Majhi re tor noukar dhewla giya
Majhi re tor noukar dhewla giya re
Majhi re tor noukar dhewla giya
Sahib koi sur na taal bas naad naad anhadiya saadhu
Sahib toh hai prem patti ka vyopari kanpatiya saadhu
Sahib meri meera sur kabeera aur bullehshah saadhu
Sahib toh hai paigambar nanak Buddha aur isa saadhu
Sahib mera gunje azzano mein
Shabad tan khul jaye taano main
Saheb mera shoon sifar jaisa
Sahib mera jaisa main waisa
Maina tu pankh pasar ke udd ja duniya bhawsagar ke par
Yahan pe bhoot prem ki nagri hai mere saheb ki sarkar
Sahib mera ek rakhwala re
Sahib mera deen dayala re
Sahib mere tan pe dushala re
Sahib mere tan main ujala re
Panch tatva ka bana pinjra, pinjre mein maina
Panch lootere ghaat lagaye ghabraye maina

Sahib mera deen dayala re

You Are The Product Of Your Thoughts
You Are The Product Of Your Thoughts :
Some Guidelines to have beautiful thoughts ~
Associate with people who think positively
Read books that can inspire you to think positively
Be conscious of the programs you listen to on radio and watch on television
Make conscious effort to think positively. That is, control your thoughts deliberately
Stop worrying. Worries bring negative thoughts which cripple your mind and prevent it from soaring.
Always remember, if you cannot soar in your mind, you cannot soar outside.
Each time any negative thought comes to your mind, replace it with the thought of your goals and a better tomorrow you desire.
Thought of the Day : 24/12/2013
An efficiency expert was making his report to
Henry Ford. “As you well see. sir, the report is highly favourable, except for
that man down the hall. Every time I pass by he’s sitting with his feet on his
desk. He’s wasting your money.
Said Ford. “That man once had an idea that
earned us a fortune. At the time I believe his feet were exactly where they are
now.”
There was an exhausted woodcutter who kept
wasting time and energy chopping wood with a blunt axe because he did not have
the time, he said, to stop and sharpen the blade.
Thought of the Day : 23/12/2013
The Moghul Emperor, Akbar, was one day out
hunting in the forest. When it was time for evening prayer he dismounted,
spread his mat on the earth and knelt to pray in the manner of devout Muslims
everywhere.
Now it was precisely at this time that a
peasant woman, perturbed by the disappearance of her husband who had left home
that morning and hadn’t returned, went rushing by, anxiously searching for her
husband. In her preoccupation she did not notice the kneeling figure of the
Emperor and tripped over him, then got up and without a word of apology rushed
further into the forest.
Akbar was annoyed at this interruption but,
being a good Muslim, he observed the rule of speaking to no one during the
namaaz.
Now just about the time that his prayer was
over the woman returned, joyful in the company of her husband whom she had
found. She was surprised and frightened to see the Emperor and his entourage
there. Akbar gave vent to his anger against her and shouted, “Explain your
disrespectful behaviour or you will be punished.”
The woman suddenly turned fearless, looked into
the Emperor’s eyes and said, “Your Majesty, I was so absorbed in the thought
of my husband that I did not even see you here, not even when, as you say, I
stumbled over you. Now while you were at namaaz, you were absorbed in one who
is infinitely more precious than my husband. And how is it you noticed.
The Emperor was shamed into silence and later
confided to his friends that a peasant woman, who was neither a scholar nor a
Mullah, had taught him the meaning of prayer.
Failure is never an Option
Cheers to failures . . .
Today is the day when I should rejoice one of the failure
modes of my life.
Just sharing some thoughts, Hope you will like it.
Cheers to failures . . .
2. The lessons in my life have come from failures, my own shortcomings, naivete and buying into some of the biggest myths modern society has to sell.
3. Excuses are the language of the failure, and the melody of the mediocre...
4. Failure seldom stops you; what stops you is the fear of failure.
5. I don't believe in failure. It is not failure if you enjoyed the process.
6. Failure is the condiment that gives success its flavor.
7. If you have tried to do something and failed, you are vastly better off than if you tried to do nothing and succeeded.
8. Half the things that people do not succeed in are through fear of making the attempt.
9. Failure is an event, never a person.
10. Failure is the greatest opportunity I have to know who I really am.
